Coyote Flight and Training Center

HangarThe pilots at Coyote have been providing quality flight training and pilot services to the Texas panhandle for almost two decades. Many of our students have gone on to pursue a career in aviation. Unlike most schools our average student earns their first certificate in 40-50 hours. They learn to be safe and confident in their mastery of an airplane. Our instructors are seasoned veterans who include airline pilots and certificated mechanics. We live and breathe aviation. Sharing our passion is our full-time job. At Coyote we train pilots because we are pilots.

While our major focus is flight training, we also provide a number of other aviation services such as maintenance. Our mechanics are heartily experienced in both general maintenance and avionics. As one of the few FAA certified repair stations in the Texas Panhandle, we have the unique capability to complete Pitot/Static/Transponeder certs. In addition, we offer maintenance classes that assist our customers with owner approved maintenance items. From annual inspections to routine upkeep, our owner assisted programs can help keep the cost of aircraft ownership to a minimum.

If it can be done in an aircraft we can probably do it. Over the years, we have built a nationwide reputation for providing convenient, quality general aviation service to all of our customers.

Headquartered at the Tradewind Airport in Amarillo, Texas, our offices are part of a spacious hangar containing a lobby area, two briefing rooms, and a large classroom.

Come by and visit or feel free to give us a call.  Regardless of your background, we welcome anyone who is interested in aviation.
